The practice of Self-realisation
Some very essential aspects of advanced spiritual knowledge may at times seem a little "lofty". Although we have never really stepped out of the infinite potential, out of oneness, although we have never really lost the stillness, most of us have entangled our attention so thoroughly with our own creation that we have forgotten our actual nature – we simply no longer perceive it. Meditation helps us learn to direct our attention back to our innermost being. It is therefore not about changing ourselves, or even improving ourselves – becoming stiller or more spiritual. It is simply about realising our true nature again – the nature that has been within us the whole time; about realising our Self.
For this we have, alongside a number of ancient and very pure mantras, a series of extraordinary awakening techniques, which we pass on to people whose concern is to awaken in this life, and who are willing to preserve these meditations in their purity.
And so a knowledge that may at first seem "a little lofty" becomes, sooner or later, an entirely concrete and practical experience of Self-realisation.
