Solar Savitra in the Digital Age

In the course of this life’s journey I have met various teachers and come to know a number of different spiritual approaches and meditation techniques. At around thirty I thought I now knew what was essential and ended the search – and a short time later finally found what I had actually been looking for. Since then I have been on a new journey, one marked by discoveries that lie far beyond what I would previously have held to be possible. Through the meditations brought forth by Aaravindha Himadra, and through the Solar knowledge, the great circle closes for me – and I am deeply grateful to share this treasure with other people in the most varied situations and circumstances. Here I see myself within a timeless lineage, a timeless tradition whose roots lie far back in the past – as a Solar Savitra.

At the same time I live with great joy in a modern age of extraordinary technical possibilities. At present those technical possibilities are, unfortunately, generally not put to life-supporting use – but it does not have to be that way: in the end they are tools, and we can just as well use them in the service of love and of the development of our consciousness. And so, in the digital age, the ancient knowledge of the Solar Tradition can make use of modern technologies to give as many people as possible the simplest possible access to Sambodha – to the wisdom-knowledge gained in the process of awakening, and supporting that process.
